Ramadan is a time of generosity, compassion, and solidarity, especially for those facing difficult living conditions. In 2025, Rikaz launched wide-reaching Ramadan projects in Lebanon to bring relief and hope to thousands of vulnerable families. Thanks to the incredible support of donors and partners, a total of 31,400 individuals benefited from the Ramadan programs this year.
Here’s a closer look at how Ramadan projects in Lebanon made an impact:
Through our Ramadan Iftar Meals project, Rikaz NGO provided hot meals to 20,100 individuals across Lebanon. These meals helped families break their fasts with dignity and ensured that no one had to worry about where their next meal would come from.
Eid is a time of celebration, especially for children. This year, Rikaz distributed 1,000 sets of Eid clothes to children, allowing them to experience the joy and excitement of the holiday in brand-new outfits, just like their peers.
Spiritual growth is at the heart of Ramadan. Rikaz supported 150 children and youth through Quran study programs, providing them with educational materials and sessions to deepen their connection with their faith during the holy month.
Through our sponsorship and cash assistance programs, 2,400 individuals received vital financial support. These funds helped families cover essential needs, from food to medical care and school expenses, ensuring a dignified and secure Ramadan.
Rikaz delivered 6,720 food parcels to struggling families. Each parcel was carefully packed with essential food items to sustain families throughout the month, helping to ease their financial burden during a period of increased needs.
In addition to non-perishable items, Rikaz also provided fresh food to 1,030 individuals. These deliveries included fruits, vegetables, and fresh meat, promoting healthier meals for families during Ramadan.
Thanks to the collective effort, 31,400 people across Lebanon experienced a Ramadan filled with hope, dignity, and care. At Rikaz NGO, we believe that every act of kindness counts — and together, we continue to create positive change, one project at a time.
