Ramadan Light Distribution in Lebanon is one of Rikaz’s humanitarian initiatives to support displaced families during the holy month of Ramadan. When families are forced to leave their homes, they often end up in places without electricity. When the sun goes down, these families are left in total darkness. This makes it hard to move around safely, cook food, or for children to study.
To help, ركاز is giving out rechargeable LED emergency lights to displaced people across Lebanon.
Why These Lights Are Important
A simple light can change everything for a family living in a shelter:
Safety: It helps women and children feel safer at night and prevents accidents in the dark.
Schoolwork: It allows children to read and finish their lessons even when the power is out.
Comfort: Having light makes a difficult situation feel a little bit more like home.
The lights we provide are easy to use and built to last. They are rechargeable, so families don’t have to spend money on batteries. They are bright enough to light up a whole room and easy to carry like a flashlight.
Through the Ramadan Light Distribution in Lebanon initiative, Rikaz continues to provide rechargeable LED emergency lights that help displaced families stay safe during power outages across Lebanon.
